Class Details
A mid-June jaunt into the beautiful riverside woodland, grassland and terraced gardens at Hermitage of Braid, Edinburgh. Spend quality outdoor time engrossed in drawing and painting summer plants and flowers that surround you in these different habitats. Birchwood's tutor of Botanical Illustration, Suzanne Gibson, will be there to help identify species & give en-plein-air instruction on drawing and watercolour techniques in outdoor conditions. This is now an annual tradition at Birchwood and we hope you enjoy this year's chosen location. Meet point is the Lodge Coffee House at the Braid Road entrance to Hermitage of Braid. Address: 69B Braid Road, EH10 6JF. All art materials will be provided as well as a soft pad to sit on. Please dress for the weather forecast and bring water and sunscreen. Trainers or walking boots are recommended footwear as there is varied terrain. Suzanne's phone number will be provided ahead of the session in case you need to contact her. This promises to be another satisfying summer session!

Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
