Lino Printing Workshop

Class Details
Join skilled printmaker and experienced teacher Anupa Gardner for this half day workshop which will introduce you to the joys of lino cutting and printing. During the workshop participants will explore different ways of mark making on easy-cut or traditional lino with the help of gouges to carve your A5 blocks. You will be shown a simple registration method and learn how to use the lino cutting gouges, transfer images onto blocks, and handprint using barens or spoons on different coloured paper. Feel free to bring a sketch or a simple digital printout (max size A5) or use one of our many resource prints! The workshop is 4 hours with a half hour break at lunchtime, you are welcome to bring lunch in to eat in the studio or there is a cafe next door. All materials and refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits etc.) are provided, just bring a pinny.

Cancellation Policy
We hope to avoid cancelling classes or workshops whenever possible but sometimes life happens and it's unavoidable. When we have cancelled you will be offered either a refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another class/time. We can't offer refunds if you can't make it to a class or workshop but if there are places available on another day we will do our best to fit you in. If you cancel 14 days or more before an event we will refund you if we are able to re-sell your place(s).
